1519634 Moving band press filter HAMAKO HARTMANN MASCHINENBAU KG 5 Aug 1975 [13 Aug 1974] 32641/75 Heading B1D An endless band of filter cloth 10 is folded over to form a tube and passed through a filling and filtering zone and one or more pressing zones (2-4, Fig. 1, not shown) then opened out and cleaned. In the filling and filtering zone a flat nozzle 13 injects liquidsolids mixture under pressure from a pump into the tube which is then carried through a supporting means in a direction between horizontal and vertically downwards. The supporting means in Fig. 3a comprises a pair of stationary channels with filtrate drainage grooves 15. The channels may be relatively adjusted and may converge together. Other cross-sections, including circular (Fig. 3b not shown) are possible. In Fig. 5a the supporting means comprises two endless belts, which may be grooved or mesh-like (Figs. 8a-8d not shown). In Fig. 6 (not shown) the belts are replaced by rows of rollers. In the pressing zone(s) (Figs. 9, 10 not shown) the filter cloth tube and contents pass between further endless belts, converging in the direction of travel and backed by rollers which are urged together by respective pairs of rams (22). Filtrates from the filtering and pressing zones are separately collected. The endless belts could be common to filtering and pressing zones (Fig. 4 not shown). Modular construction however allows any required number of pressing zones to be added to the apparatus. At the cleaning zone (Fig. 12) the cloth band 10 is opened up and solids removed by upper plate 60 with a peripheral rubber or plastics scraper (Fig. 13, not shown), and the cloth is cleaned by water sprays 29 and/or rotary brushes and/or compressed air nozzles. Lower plate 60 collects the wash water. Upper plate 60 is pivoted, adjustable towards the cloth and may be vibrated to assist solids removal.
The invention relates to a device for dewatering suspensions and in particular to a continuously operating belt press and can be used in areas of industry where separation of solid to liquid mixtures is required. A known belt press for extracting juice from fruits and other fruits, including an endless conveyor belt from a liquid-permeable material, and another belt located above it, these belts forming a pressing chamber and moving around the pressure rolls 1 above and below the belts. . The disadvantage of this press is the low efficiency of dehydration, due to the fact that the liquid yield from this compressible material does not proportionally increase with increasing absolute pressing pressure and other parameters, such as the number and frequency of periodic pressure drops, cake thickness and others. The closest in technical essence and the achieved result is, according to the invention, a belt filter press for dewatering suspensions, including an endless filter belt, envelope rollers, pre-filtering chamber, filtering and dewatering chamber, loading and unloading device and squeezing device made in a row horizontally mounted rolls, enveloped by endless squeezing tape 2. The disadvantage of such a device is the low efficiency of dewatering. The purpose of the invention is to increase the efficiency of dewatering by regulating the pressure on the suspension. This is achieved by the fact that the pre-filtering chamber is made in the form of a tubular element connected to a loading device, angled to the filtering and dewatering chambers and equipped with a mechanism for adjusting its cross-sectional area, and the filtering tape in the form of a hose with overlapped edges , and a squeezing device is arranged above the filtering and dewatering chambers, the pairs of rolls of which are mounted for movement, It is advisable that the filtering chamber be made in the form of two roller conveyors with each other with i-shaped sections. It is preferable to implement the mechanism for adjusting the cross-sectional area of the pre-filtering chamber in the form of mechanical pressing Hfcc elements. In view of this arrangement of the press rolls, the process of pressing and filtering depends only on the pressure and not on the path traveled by the ribbons, and by adjusting the layer thickness, the specific filter surface can be changed and depending on the properties of the material to be pressed, its optimum value. The high degree of prefiltration during the filtering process causes the formation of a solid cake inside the filterpress belt before the start of the pressing process, which contributes to an increase in the quality of the final product. FIG. 1 shows a belt filter press; general view; in fig. 2 — general pre-filtering chamber; in fig. 3 shows section A-A in FIG. 2; in fig. 4 shows the filtration chamber, general view; FIG. 5, FIG. 5, Section BB, FIG. four; in fig. 6 shows a pre-filtering chamber, a general view; in fig. 7 shows a section bb in FIG. 6; in fig. 8 shows the boot device, general view; in fig. 9 - squeezing device, general view; FIG. 10 is given a section of GG in FIG. 9; in fig. 11 shows a cleaning and turning device for a filtering tape, general view; in fig. 12 - the same top view; in fig. 13 - console, top view. Belt filter press consists of pre-filtering cells 1, filtering chamber 2, chambers and 4 dewatering, cleaning and peeling device 5. Pre-filtering chamber 1 is made in the form of a tubular element formed from two walls b and 7, and an i-shaped section, placed opposite one another. The pre-filter chamber is angled to the filter and dewatering chambers and is connected to the loading chamber. a device 8, which is a tube terminating in a flat nozzle and connected to a pump (not shown in the drawings). the liquid from the pre-filtering chamber is removed through the outlet 9. The performance of the apparatus will depend on the speed of movement of the filtering tape 10 through the pre-filtering chamber, which is equipped with a mechanism for adjusting its cross-sectional area, consisting of a bolt 11c and a nut 12. The filtering chamber (see Fig. 4) consists of two roller conveyors 13 and 14 between which the filter belt 10 is located. The roller conveyors of the rolls 15, located at a distance from each other and defining a constant cross-section guide of the belts. The rolls 15 are connected by a joint drive 16 of each roller conveyor. The adjustment of the cross section of the channel is made by bolts 17 with nuts 18. The lugs 19 under the preload of the springs 20 put pressure on the filter belt 10. The preload of the springs can be adjusted to the pressure in the filter. The guide sheets 21 drain the liquid from the filter. The guide sheets 22 tl 23 allow the channel cross section to vary in height and are movable relative to each other. The two roller conveyors 13 and 14 have pivotal guide rolls. 24 (upper) and 25 (lower). Tension rollers 26 hold the ribbons under sufficient tension. Between the lower branch of the upper roller conveyor 13 and the upper branch of the lower roller conveyor 14, which, in accordance with the decreasing inside the filter press during the movement of the filter belt 10 through the moisture pressing zone, approach each other slightly U-shaped, the belt moves constantly with constant but pre-adjustable speed. Turning rolls 24 and 25 belong to a system consisting of three independent pairs of rolls (one turn guide roll 24 or 25 is connected to a smaller diameter roll 26, and the middle pair consists of rolls 26.- The xycda of these pairs of rolls is coupled via pressure 27 to the cylinders 28 of pressure so that the upper pairs of rolls 24, 26 and 26, 26 are pulled to opposite lower par. rolls 25, 26 and 26, 26, namely the application of force data in a separate case of the pistons. Each pair of rolls (see Fig. 10) is associated with a cylinder under pressure on both sides of the guide axles, and each pair of cylinders can be individually applied with the desired pressure — alternating or continuous, hydraulic or pneumatic. The pressing pressure, which is freely adjustable for each pair of rolls separately, should be set taking into account the thickness of the layer of the material to be compressed, its structure, the speed of movement of the pressed material through the pressing zone and the number of pressure bars. The filter belt 10 (see Fig. 11 rises at the end of the last pressing station along an inclined plane, rotates on the return roll 29 and enters the console 30, which causes the dry crust to be taken away onto the metal sheet 31 surrounding the console. The rotary, round-axis, elliptical or U-shaped arm 30 on its support axis is preferably made sliding in the longitudinal direction CL in order to optimize the removal of the cake. In order to completely discharge the residue from the filter belt 10, the console 30 is equipped with a scraper 32 made of ebonite or plastic. The unloading and trapping of the cake on the inclined metal sheet 31 can be carried out using a vibrator. In order for the filter belt 10 to circulate flawlessly, the second console 33 is movably mounted longitudinally and pivotally, and the distance between the two brackets 30 and 33 can be adjusted. Having passed through both consoles, the belt 10 is gradually folded between the guide roller 34 and the roller 35 so as to return at the bottom of the device to the loading point. After emptying the belt 10 with the scraper 32, it is sprayed with water or another solution. A pipe 36 with nozzles 37 is provided for this. The wash water is trapped on the metal sheet 31, from which it flows. Belt filter press works as follows. The initial slurry enters the filter belt 10 into the pre-filter chamber 1, which is a tubular element connected to a charging device that is angled to the filter and dewatering chambers. The filtered liquid leaks out through the filtering tape 10 to the outside and flows into the space between the outer surface of the filtering tape 10 and the inner walls 6 and 7 of the pre-filtering chamber 1 arranged obliquely. The liquid is discharged from this space through the outlet 9. Next, the pre-filtered in the chamber 1 of lepgiq together with the filtering tape 10 is directed to the filtering chamber 2, in which the roller conveyors 13 and 14 approach each other slightly U-shaped under the action of the guide rollers. 24 and 25 and tension rolls 26, which leads to an increase in pressure on the cake. The pressing pressure, which is freely adjustable for each pair of rolls separately, is determined taking into account the thickness of the layer of compressible material, its structure. the speed of passage through the press zone and the number of pressure rolls. After the filtering chamber 2, the filter fabric with the cake enters the dewatering chambers 3 and 4, similar to the filtering chamber 2, and then rises along an inclined surface and through the roller 29 enters the cantilever 30, which expands the dry cake so that the metal sheet 31 is drained onto the covering console 30 from which the scraper 32 removes it. The distance between the arms 30 and 33 is adjusted, and the filter cloth 10 passing through them gradually folds between the guide roller 34 and with a roller 35 to return to the bottom of the device to the loading point. After emptying the filter belt 10 with the aid of a scraper 32, it is sprayed with water entering 0 through pipe 36 with nozzles 1 and 37. Wash water is caught on metal sheet 31 with console 33 and flows down. Thus, due to the pre-filtering chamber being made in the form of a tubular element connected to a charging device at an angle to the filtering and dewatering chambers and 0 provided with a mechanism for adjusting its cross-sectional area, a high efficiency of dewatering of fruit-like suspensions is achieved. five
